The Rhondda Valleys were at the heart of the coal mining industry in South Wales right up to the 1970's. The evidence of this industry were everywhere, from the coal dusty towns and villages to the blighted landscape. Now, not a single mine remains in operation and great effort has been made to return the landscape to its former life. In tribute to this once great industrial engine, we bring The Rhondda. Roofed in original welsh slate and painted in the black of coal and the white of renewal.
